Serving Spanish Fork since 1975

My name is Jeff Carter, the president of this family owned business Carter’s Glass. Our story begins with my grandfather Ray, who was an autoglass specialist in several early businesses. At the time he learned the trade, autoglass was all flat, and rather than having an inventory of windshields or other parts, you had a library of paper patterns you would use to custom cut glass to fit each automobile.

Ray taught his son Merrill Ray to cut glass, and Merrill Ray taught me, and I in turn have taught my sons and daughter to cut glass. The last Carter to work at Carter’s Glass is Kade, fourth generation glazier and our latest “hire”.

It is our mission to continue the legacy of old fashioned craftsmanship into modern-day glass and window applications. Service, quality and value are the attributes we work hard to apply to each individual customer. We value time-tested techniques and practices in a business climate that seems lost in a race to provide what is merely cheap or easy.

We are located in a historic downtown building, and actually offer a unique old fashioned atmosphere in the front or the store called the Rusty Ranch; a little side vintage business for our customers to browse. Stop by anytime and step back in time. We’ll be here trying to keep good old fashioned quality from going out of style.
